# Concussor, Dual Drum Synth for Ableton Live
## What is Concussor?
Concussor is a Maxforlive device that generates drum sounds using two tone generators. The first tone generator generates a variety of blips and 808-like sounds. The second tone generator uses filtered and decimated noise to create percussive tail sounds. When combined, a variety of bass drum, snare drum, clap, hi-hat, and tom sounds can be easily created.

## How does Concussor work?
To get started, drop Concussor onto a MIDI track.
Try playing some notes on your keyboard, or play a MIDI sequence with some notes on it.
You should hear a few different percussive sounds play back.
Concussor has 24 presets, which are triggered by playing a MIDI note. The notes wrap around every two octaves, so C1 and C3 should trigger the same sound.
You can easily generate an infinite supply of sounds by clicking "Randomize" and then clicking "Trigger". When you have a sound you like, save it to a preset by **shift-clicking** one of the presets.
Concussor has two envelopes, one for the blip, and one for the tail. Click an envelope to create a new point. Drag a point to move it. Shift-click a point to delete it. Option-drag a curve to change its steepness.
