# Sketch I, Spiraling Arpeggios This is the first video for my new YouTube channel. The first few videos will be walking through building a musical sketch. The first sketch I made in VCV Rack, a virtual modular synth environment for creating music. By carefully sequencing three voices, I create some serene but compelling ambient music with a little bit of a rhythm. After laying down some fundamentals, the beginning of the "spiraling melodies" section starts around 7:50, and it culminates a bit after 9:30.
